Maternity photography is a wonderful way to capture the radiant glow and anticipation of motherhood. As a photographer, I find immense joy in creating beautiful and memorable sessions for expecting mothers. From the moment they step into my cozy studio, my aim is to make them feel relaxed and beautiful. And what better way to achieve this than by teaming up with a talented makeup artist like Michelle? During the initial stages of the session, Michelle actively engages both the client and myself. She seeks to understand the client's preferences and also considers the overall session theme. For Chesley's session, we collectively decided on a neutral yet dramatic makeup look, complemented by a berry glossy lip. Michelle's ability to blend the client's desires with her expertise ensures a harmonious transition from vision to reality.
The Pampering Experience:
Before the camera clicks, there's a pampering phase that sets the tone for the entire session. As the makeup artist prepares to work her magic, the expecting mother is given the royal treatment. Our recent session with Chesley began with a comfortable lounge set that exuded comfort and intimacy. We then transitioned to a feminine pleated dress, and finally, a sheer dress that added an ethereal touch to the series.
